Sorry after your wife nearly ruined my life?

“She was arrested.”
I looked back immediately.

He nodded.
“Police came yesterday.”
For a few seconds I said nothing.
Because reality suddenly felt strange.

Months ago I didn’t even know these people.
Now somebody was in police custody because of me.

“She keeps asking about you.”
